Led by MEP Martina Anderson, 55 members of the European Parliament sent a letter to Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, requesting that the EU act to ensure “safe passage of the Flotilla to Gaza.” The letter also demands that pressure be placed on Israel to end the illegal blockade and insist that Israel comply with international law as a step towards restarting the Middle East Process.
