QUOTE: I decided to join Ship to Gaza as all my life I have felt a big empathy for the Palestinian people and a sense of hopelessness, not being able to do anything for them. Year after year after year the stories stay the same. And the worst thing is that it becomes ‘normal’ in the media to the ears of the world. I deeply hope that one day something will change and that these people will be able to live their lives freely and as safely as any human being should. I realise that joining this peaceful action may not do that but may many small rivers make an ocean.
