On September 14th the Women\u2019s Boat to Gaza Flotilla will depart from Barcelona<\/strong> to challenge the illegal and inhuman blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip for the last decade.<\/p>\n

From September 12th to 14th the sailing vessels Amal (Hope) and Zaytouna (Olive) will dock at Bosch i Alsina in the Port of Barcelona<\/strong>, where various events (concerts, public talks, workshops, shows and visits to the boats) will take place as farewell for the Freedom Flotilla. Women\u2019s Boat to Gaza will carry the voices of women from all over the world in solidarity with Palestinian women<\/strong>, who are an example to us all in their resistance and struggle against the Israeli occupation and blockade.<\/p>\n

September 12th<\/h4>\n

5:30 PM<\/strong>: Presentation of the Women\u2019s Boat to Gaza boats
\n6:00 PM<\/strong>: Circus and clown Gala with Pablo Superstar<\/strong>, Silosenomecuelgo<\/strong> y Kanbahiota<\/strong> (Pallasos en Rebeld\u00eda)
\n6:30 to 10:00 PM<\/strong>: Music for Palestine. Concerts by Itacaband<\/strong>, Aspencat<\/strong> in acustic, Che Sudaka<\/strong>, El Diluvi<\/strong> and Ketubara Batucada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

September 13th<\/h4>\n

5:30 PM<\/strong>: Laughs for Palestine. Show for children with Alejandro Tirillas<\/strong> (Pallasos en Rebeld\u00eda)
\n6:15 PM<\/strong>: Workshops: \u2018Let\u2019s draw the Mediterranean we dream<\/strong>\u2019, family workshop; and \u2018Prepare a backpack in 5 minutes<\/strong>\u2019, youth workshop (Stop Mare Mortum)

\n7:00 PM<\/strong>: \u2018The occupation of Palestine. The Gaza blockade<\/strong>\u2019, round table with members of the Palestinian community, activists and journalists.

\n9:30 PM<\/strong>: Had enough of complicity with Israel? What you can do about it<\/strong> (Coalici\u00f3 Prou Complicitat amb Israel)<\/p>\n

September 14th<\/h4>\n

6:30 PM<\/strong>: Street parade with SomS\u00f2 Batucada<\/strong>. Starts at the Columbus monument (Associaci\u00f3 Dones i Repercussi\u00f3)
\n7:00 PM<\/strong>: Official departure ceremony for the\u00a0Women\u2019s Boats to Gaza<\/strong> with speeches and musical performances of Marinah<\/strong> (Ojos de Brujo), Amparo S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> and Les Kol\u00b7lontai<\/strong> (Montse Castell\u00e0, S\u00edlvia Comes, Meritxell Gen\u00e9 i Ivette Nadal) as well as \u2018live painting\u2019 with the illustrator Iris Serrano<\/strong><\/p>\n

Boat visits:<\/strong> Tuesday from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 4 PM to 8 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM to 2 PM<\/p>\n

Free activities in open air. Activities will take place at the Bosch i Alsina dock of the Barcelona port (Metro: Barceloneta)<\/strong><\/p>\n
